Golfers can compete in our regional events by purchasing an entry fee or by qualifying through events held at charity golf outings and local courses. Each competition consists of 6-10 putting holes, ranging in distance from 40-100 feet. Each competitor will get at least three putts at each hole and their best attempt counts. The lowest total distance will determine the winner. Winners get the chance to compete in the World’s Longest Putt Finals at The Baths of Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin. They will also have a shot at a $1 million putt and a chance to break the Guinness World Record!
The WLP Chicago Regional Event will be held at the Midwest Golf House, the true home of golf in Chicagoland. Competitors get to play the greens at the Bob Berry Sunshine Course, the CDGA’s very own par-3 course that supports an array of amazing outreach programs.
